Kiara is a happy-go-lucky playful lioness who firmly believes We Are One. She loves to explore, even though her father is overprotective of her. One day she meets an Outsider named Kovu and after a run in with some crocodiles, they become fast friends. However Kiara's father hates Kovu's mother Zira, who leads a Pride called The Outsiders, who are still loyal to Scar. When they meet again as adults they fall in love, and decide to work together to unite their feuding prides.
