My Disney Kitchen

Here's some screenshots from a huge comfort game for me as well as Forgotten Disney gold: My Disney Kitchen. Unlike my 102 Dalmatians game post this one will have more screenshots as the game doesn't glitch out into a techincolor mess when you minimize it.

The fact I can even get My Disney Kitchen running on my Windows 10 Laptop is a miracle and a half. This game came out in 1995 (My copy is a 1998 re release.) and you can really tell by how the image looks for the launcher.

Here's a slightly better version via the task bar. It's looks way better, maybe being compressed down to such a small size was the problem.

And one of those classic launchers. Aaaaah, I love how 90s it is! (Says the person born in 1998 and doesn't remember the 90s at all) The reinstall option is great if your game files somehow get corrupted and the uninstall feature for well....you know...if you're a fool.

Here's a cropped picture of just the My Disney Kitchen logo. I love the print in the back, it reminds me of a picnic blanket.
So it's been a while since I played the game and I come back to this. Some cereal with bananas in it, some potatoes cut into fries, and a lone cookie on the table. Also I always change the picture on the front to Daisy because she's my favorite.

This is what happens when you juice a chicken in My Disney Kitchen. It's the same color as the chicken, this weird, peachy color, even thought it probably wouldn't look like that in real life. Mickey and Minnie better hope this doesn't end up in their cup at dinner time.

And in case you're wondering where the chicken was stored, of course in the best place: under the sink. Very sanitary and very cool under there.

I think it was a missed opportunity to not make the tea pot Mrs Potts from Beauty and The Beast, but that might just be me....

The game also has some recipe cards for meals and snacks you can make in real life, so here's a select few:

Breakfast Burrito

Tater Boats

Cub Cakes

They all have video clips attached if you press the picture of the food, many Forgotten Disney, but the game glitches out if you try to play them sadly.

I hope you enjoyed my look at the Forgotten Disney game, My Disney Kitchen. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be playing it for the next few hours.
